HYSP Carbon Welded Pipe Manufacture Process

Welded Pipe Manufacture Process (1) – Steel Raw Material
Quality Pipes start from top quality raw materials. HYSP purchase top grade steel coils to manufacture API 5L Line Pipe, ASTM A252 Piling Pipe, ASTM A53 Steel Pipe, EN10219 Structure Pipe.
You will believe the raw material quality of Shou Gang Steel Group, An Steel, Baosteel, TPCO etc. And we purchase the material mainly from those large and famous steel mills.
Welded Pipe Manufacture Process (2) – Forming and Cutting
After uncoil and the plate transfer to the forming unit and form into pipes step by step. And in the welding unit, pipes are welded by High Frequency Welder. the internal burr and external burr are removed meanwhile.
Then ‘line pipe’ are formed. the welded pipe manufacture process is basically done. After air cooling and water cooling units, sizing unit, carbon welded pipes are cut by rotary saw and single pipe is produced.
Welded Pipe Manufacture Process (3) – Test & Inspection
After single pipe is cut and carried to the hydro test unit, HYSP will apply hydrostatic test as per API 5L or other required steel pipe specification, as well as UT, weight, visual inspection etc.
From the cutting unit, every single pipes are marked with unique pipe number. With this number, every steel coil number, heat number and other production record and inspection records can be connected.
After those Welded Pipe Manufacture steps, pipes would be checked qualified to required steel pipe specification or not. All qualified black carbon pipe are stacked in stock waiting for delivery, while all unqualified welded pipes are degrade or sold as waste steel pips.
